The Embarcadero Edition of AWS SDK for Delphi is discontinued
With RAD Studio 13 Florence shipping, the Embarcadero Edition of the AWS SDK for Delphi is being retired. New features from 1.5.0 onward are Appercept-only.
The Embarcadero Edition of the AWS SDK for Delphi (the version that's been shipped through GetIt to RAD Studio Enterprise and Architect subscribers) is being discontinued, timed with the launch of RAD Studio 13 Florence. This was agreed between Appercept and Embarcadero.
The Embarcadero Edition keeps working on the versions of RAD Studio it already supports. It won't be receiving any further updates, and it won't be available for Florence or anything that comes after. Everything from 1.5.0 onward is Appercept-edition only, which means features like the IAM Identity Center support in 1.6 are only on the Appercept route.
If you're already on the Embarcadero Edition and not moving to Florence, you don't need to do anything; your existing copy still works. If you're moving to Florence, or you want any of the post-1.5 features, you'll need an Appercept licence.
There's a dedicated page covering the migration: Moving from the Embarcadero Edition. For anything specific to your team or licence, get in touch.
